Editorial Policy

The International Journal of Advanced Social Studies aims to be a global platform for new research and ideas in social sciences. All submissions should be original, unpublished and not submitted elsewhere for publication. Authors keep the copyright to their work and do not need to transfer it to the journal. This allows articles to be shared and reused freely, as long as the original work is properly cited. Authors are fully responsible for the content and originality of their work.

International Journal of Advanced Social Studies follows the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing. International Journal of Advanced Social Studies published articles under a CC-BY license (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0). This allows maximum sharing and reuse, even for commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given.

All manuscripts are peer-reviewed by minimum two subject experts. International Journal of Advanced Social Studies publishes three issues each year.

The journal does not take responsibility for the content of published articles; this responsibility lies entirely with the authors. Opinions in the articles are those of the authors and may not reflect the views of International Journal of Advanced Social Studies.

Peer Review Process

International Journal of Advanced Social Studies is using an online system for article submission, review, and tracking the article to ensure fast processing. The journal provides a rapid review process of about 4 to 8 weeks. However, sometimes the review process may take longer due to the availability of reviewers and the time they need to provide their feedback. After the acceptance, article is published online in the current issue.

Manuscripts must be high-quality and contribute to the field of social studies. Even small but meaningful contributions are valued. International Journal of Advanced Social Studies has a strict peer review process to decide which articles are accepted for publication, aiming for rapid review and publication of high-quality work.

When the initial checks are made, the Editor-in-Chief reviews the manuscript and decides whether to send it for peer review or reject it. Authors are informed about the decision by email.

During the revision, author need to answer each reviewer’s comment one by one and explain what you changed. After getting the revised files from author, the paper might go back to the same reviewers or to new ones. When all issued are resolved, the acceptance email is sent to author. After acceptance, the journal send you a proof copy to author to correct small mistakes or scientific errors, and then the production team will finalize it.

This journal makes all its articles free to read as soon as they are published, because free access helps people everywhere share and learn from research.

Archiving

This journal uses the LOCKSS system, which lets participating libraries keep permanent copies of the journal to preserve and restore it when needed. More...
